MiUI Notch Notification Mod

Our Mod does not require any build.prop changes like ro.miui.notch = 0 !

Requirements

We are updating MiUI Notch Notification Modevery week for MiUI dev and stable firmwares. In order to install this mod, you need to match the following requirements:
  • Xiaomi Android smartphone or tablet
  • v10 ROM
  • Unlocked Bootloader (for TWRP)
  • TWRP custom recovery    

    • How-To

    To activate the Notification Icons, just download and install our Center Clock Mod from the link below. It keeps the clock on the default position and only moves it a little bit to the top when a notification comes in. Icons will be displayed under the clock.
  • Download the ZIP File
  • Copy the File to your phone/tablet
  • Reboot to TWRP Recovery
  • Select ‘Install ZIP from /sdcard’
  • Select the ZIP File
  • Install and Reboot



    • Enable Notification Icons

    To show up Notification Icons on your statusbar instead of three dots MiUI has a setting called Show Notification Icons.
    Xiaomi removed this setting for Notch devices !

    You can still enable this setting via ADB or command line, even on non-rooted smartphones:
    adb shell “settings put system status_bar_show_notification_icon 1”
    There is a settings toggle switch for this option on newer ROM versions.
    Go to Settings -> Notifications -> enable “Show Notification Icons” !
