As Instagram has really changed the way it is scrolled through your feed? Well, you might have experienced it last night, but in reality it is not so. It was a bug that changed the instagram feed side-to-side from top and bottom. Last night, Instagram released an update, in which scrolling was brought to the side of the feed. The update was not rolled out to everyone and only a few managed to use it. Users who were upgraded to newer scrolling feed updates, went crazy and started complaining about the feature.
Immediately after this, users started talking about the new side-to-side
scrolling feature and expressed how disgusting and irritable it is to
use Instagram, Facebook-owned photo-sharing app explained That it was a
bug that was responsible for the change. The way users use Instagram and
this is not a new feature. Instagram also said that the bug has been
fixed and the Instagram is normal back up and down.
After complaining of users being mad and complaining about the new
Instagram News Feed layout, the company spokesman said in a note to the
media, "Due to a bug, some users saw a change in their feed's
appearance. We quickly fixed the issue and the feed back is normal. We
apologize for any delusion. "While the Instagram says it was a bug,
users believe it wasn't. Users believe that this was a new feature and
after receiving feedback from people around the world, the company was
justified by saying that a bug was responsible for it.
The side-to-side feed scrolling feature was reportedly a copy of
Instagram Stories. Some reports have claimed that after the great
success of the stories, Instagram believed that users might like to work
with news feeds in a similar way. But sadly, the effort failed
miserably. The Side-to-Side Feed Scrolling feature worked similarly as
how the Stories feature works. As in the case of stories, the feed
automatically turns from one picture to another.
Users who were updated for a new feature got a message from Instagram
that informed them about new changes in the way the app was used.
Message read: "Offers a new way to transfer via post," reads pop-ups,
encourages people to experiment with a message along with it.
After the update rolled out, users around the world started complaining
about the new feature and said that if this remains, they will skip the
app and delete their profile. Not only this, users started trending on
Instagram which flooded the Internet. Here are some of the most fun
